The 2022 season of LPGA Tour is finally getting wrapped up with the upcoming CME Group Tour Championship. The annual women’s professional golf tournament is scheduled to begin this November 17, 2022 in Florida.
CME Group Tour Championship 2022 Field:
CME Group Tour Championship 2022 will be the 12th edition of the LPGA Tour event. Following its inauguration in 2011, the event successfully succeeded the LPGA Tour Championship as the LPGA Tour’s season finale event.
Like every year, the event will be held in Naples, Florida. It will be played in a 72-par stroke play format. The host organization recently disclosed the prize pool at $7 million with a winner’s share of $2 million. The top 60 players of the Race to the CME Globe points leaderboard will be participating in the event.
The back-to-back defending winner, Jin Young Ko will be participating in the event. The LPGA 3rd ranked Lydia Ko will also take part in the upcoming tournament. In addition to them, popular international female golfers like Hye-Jin Choi, In Gee Chun, and Ayaka Furue will also be present in the upcoming event. Additionally, 10 players will make their tour championship debut here.
