Charles Schwab Challenge is the popular Texas-based PGA Tour competition. The latest edition of the annual event is scheduled to take place at the Colonial Country Club on Thursday.
The event launched in 1946 as the “Colonial National Invitation.” The upcoming iteration will mark its 64th annual run. It will maintain the PGA standard individual stroke play format over 70 par. The competition will run for four rounds over the span of four days.
The Charles Schwab Challenge 2023 will feature a $8.7 million purse pool, with a winner’s share of $1.56 million. This year’s field will be filled with top-class PGA competitors such as Scottie Scheffler, Max Homa, Tony Finau, Viktor Hovland, and many more.
A total of 120 professional golfers will partake in the upcoming Texas-based golf event. 23 of the top 50 OWGR rankers will be among them. Defending champion, Sam Burns will also be present in the field. Fans are eagerly awaiting to see their favorite ones compete in the PGA field this week.
