Cazoo Classic made its return on the tour in 2021 after a long break renaming itself as Cazoo Classic with a purse of €1,250,000. This year, PGA increased the purse by another €500,000 and made it €1,750,000. The winner will also get an increased payout of €291,660 from the Cazoo Classic 2022 Purse as opposed to last year when Calum Hill won €189,360.
The field for the tournament consists of 156 players. Only the top 65 players are eligible for the prize money. Apart from the winner, the runner-up and the 2nd runner-up will also receive a considerable sum of prize money(194,440 and 109,550 respectively), and placing in the top 65 will ensure a minimum paycheque of €4,025 from the Cazoo Classic 2022.
