The new 2022-23 PGA Tour started in September. Five tour events have already taken place in a relatively short amount of time. Bermuda Championship 2022, one of the tour’s most anticipated events, will begin on October 27.

The Bermuda Championship 2022 is a relatively new addition to the long-running PGA Tour. It was introduced in 2019 as an alternative for the WGC-HSBC Champions. Even during the covid epidemic, the event has been held annually since its establishment. It also received full FedEx Cup point event status recently.
Last year, the Australian golfer, Lucas Herbert became the champion of the event. While Danny Lee and Patrick Reed shared the runner-up position, due to losing the play-off via 1 stroke. It boasted a purse of $6.5 million with the winner pocketing $1.17 million from it.
The tournament will be 4th edition in the 108th season of the PGA Tour. 133 players will be participating in the event held in Bermuda. This year’s tournament will feature the same prize money and winner’s share as last year.

The Butterfield Bermuda Championship will be held on the same course as every year. The Port Royal Golf Course, home to the event is a 6,244 miles long course with a 71 par over 18 holes. It is located in Southampton Parish, Bermuda.
Tee Times:
The upcoming PGA Tour 2022-23 event will feature a total of 133 players. The first round will start with groups of three teeing off together, to compete with each other. Like every standard PGA Tour event, players will be divided into two tee divisions, named first tee and 10th tee. The initial group featuring Michael Kim, DA Points, and Brian Stuard will tee-off for the first round at 06:35 a.m. ET.
