The popular Augusta National Women’s Amateur begins its latest edition this Wednesday in the Georgian golf course, just two days before the professional’s competition.

The Augusta National Women’s Amateur is a popular golf tournament for the women’s amateur division. The fairly new event wash just established in 2019 for further development of the amateurs of women’s division with promising future.
The event is a stroke play based competition over 54-holes. It in played in three rounds over the span of three days, where each day consist of a standard 18-hole round. The upcoming Augusta National Women’s Amateur 2023 will be the 4th event since its 2019 debut.
As it is not a professional event, there is no prize pool. However, winner of the event is rewarded with invitations to the following five ANWA, that year’s US Women’s Open, Women’s British Open and any USGA, LPGA amateurs’ event for which they are eligible prior the following ANWA.
Field of the 2023 Augusta based competition is jam packed with high class amateur golfers. The field will feature a total of 72 golfers, of which 24 are from the top-25 of Women’s World Amateur Golf Rankings. Additionally, the defending champion Anna Davis and the champion prior to her, Tsubasa Kajitani will be present to compete.

When will the golf event be held?

The upcoming Augusta National Women’s Amateur 2023 is scheduled to kick off on Wednesday, March 29, 2023. First batch of participants will tee-off at 08:00 a.m. ET, launching the first-round competition.
Competition will be divided in three rounds. The first two round will be contested over 36 holes by full field in March 29 and 30. Following which, an official practice round will take place on Friday. The final round will be held on first day of April, where only the qualified participates to make a cut will participate.

Augusta National Women’s Amateur 2023 will be hosted in two different courses. The initial two round competitions will be held at the island & bluff nines course at Champions Retreat Golf Club. While the final round is scheduled to take place at Augusta National Golf Club course. Both clubs are located in Augusta, Georgia, US.
Augusta National Women’s Amateur 2023 Tee Times:
For the first two rounds at the upcoming Augusta based am-golf competition, a 72-player field has been announced. The field will be divided in groups of three for the first two rounds. Both draws have been published recently.
Yana Wilson, Miku Ueta, and Monet Chun will tee-off at 08:00 a.m. ET on Wednesday to launch the first-round competition. They will start at hole no#1. At the same time, another group consisting Ashlay Menne, Justice Bosio, and Nika Ito will start at hole no#10.
Kendall Griffin, Hannah Darling, and Jennifer Cleary will team up as the starting team of second round competition. They will start at hole no#1 around 08:00 a.m. ET. While Crystal Wang, Gianna Clemente, Latanna Stone will start competing in hole no#10 at the same time.
There will be a 12-minute difference between tee-off time of each group. Final round’s tee-times will be published after the completion of first two rounds’ 36-hole game.
