Named after the legendary professional Byron Nelson, AT&T Byron Nelson is a popular professional golf tournament. Established in 1944, it is currently a regular Texas-based event of the annual PGA Tour calendar.
Like the recent years, upcoming iteration of the event will take place at the TPC Craig Ranch. It will start this Thursday and run for four days straight. The competition will be based on the PGA standard 72-par stroke play format.
A total of 156 professional golfers will be featured in this year’s field. Popular top-class professionals like Scottie Sheffler, Jordan Spieth, and returning champion Lee Kyoung Hoon alongside many more will be present this time.
Organizers have announced a $9.4 million prize pool with an 18% winner’s share for the event. According to this, the winner will receive $1.71 million. Additionally, extra OWGR points will be presented to the participants.
