AT&T Byron Nelson 2023 Purse:
AT&T Byron Nelson is a popular professional golf competition under the PGA Tour. Like every year, it is scheduled to take place at the TPC Craig Ranch in Texas this May 11th. The event will comprise of a 144-player field featuring some of the top-class golfers in the world such as Scottie Sheffler, Jordan Spieth, and returning champion Lee Kyoung Hoon.
The AT&T Byron Nelson 2023 purse is listed at $9.4 million. It is a $400,000 increment over the previous year’s $9.1 million purse pool, which is a welcoming addition. However, only the top-65 participants to make a cut will be qualified to get a share of the purse pool.
Winner of this event will receive 18% of the prize pool, amounting to $1,710,000. In contrast, the defending champion Lee Kyoung-hoon received $1.638 million last year. Thanks to the $400k increment, the induvial payout will see a substantial increment across the board.
Runner-up is planned to get $1.035 million. Meanwhile, 2022 runner-up Jordan Spieth earned $991,900 only. Also, the raise won’t be limited to the upper side of the standings either. For reference, this year’s bottom three performers 63rd, 64th, and 65th position holders will receive $20,805, $20,615, and $20,425 respectively.
