Arkansas Championship 2022: Schedule, How to Watch, and Tee Times

The golf world is getting ready for yet another exciting professional women’s golf event as the Arkansas Championship 2022 is almost upon us.

The 16th edition of Walmart NW Arkansas Championship is scheduled to commence on the 23rd of September at the Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers, Arkansas. Since its establishment in 2007, the event has gone by different names depending on the sponsorship. In 2011, it adopted the current name Walmart NW Arkansas Championship Presented by P&G.

Similar to the past events, the field of players consists of 144 golfers. The Walmart NW Arkansas Championship appeals to all the top women golf players. This year is no different.

World no. 1 Jin Young KO has decided not to participate. The field is strong despite her absence as 34 of the top 50 players have arrived in Ohio to tee off at the Pinnacle Country Club. 

The biggest names on the field with the most expectations are Minjee Lee, Nelly Korda, Lydia Ko, Atthaya Thitikul, and Lexi Thompson. Lydia, Lee, and Korda being the top 3 ranked players are the obvious favorites for the tournament. However, players like Brooke Henderson, Marina Alex, and some other leading players have the eyes of golf fans around the world.

Defending champion, Nasa Hataoka from Japan is also here to retain her crown at this beautiful course in Arks.

When will the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship 2022 take place?

The 2022 Walmart NW Arkansas Championship is a 54-hole tournament that is set to begin on September 23. After 3 days of play, the tournament will conclude on the 25th of September.

How to watch Arkansas Championship 2022 on TV?

USA:

Golf Channel and NBC will telecast all the actions of the last two rounds. In the first round,  the coverage will be shared between the Golf Channel and NBC. Detailed TV coverage schedule of the rounds is as follows:

• Round 1: September 23

Time– 8 a.m. to 10 a.m (Golf Channel), 11:30 a.m to 2:30 p.m (NBC)

• Round 2: September 24

Time:  12 pm to 3 p.m. (Golf Channel, NBC)

• Round 3: September 25

Time– 12 pm to 3 p.m. (Golf Channel, NBC)

UK:

Sky Sports: 

Walmart NW Arkansas Championship 2022 will be broadcasted live by Sky Sports for the golf fans in the United Kingdom (UK) and Ireland.

Where will the tournament take place?

Venue: Pinnacle Country Club, Rogers, Arkansas

Pinnacle Country Club is a probate golf course that has been hosting the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship since its launch in 2007. The club itself was established in 2007. 

This golf link boasts of a yardage of 7,001 yards and was designed by Don Seacrest, Bruce Lietzke, and Randy Heckenkemper.
