The top 75 players in the tour’s standings participated in the contest with a combination of old golfers and youngsters. However, the field featured none of the top 50 golfers in the Official World Golf Ranking. The event started at Hillcrest Country Club on Thursday.
A series of three Korn Ferry Tour events with the Albertsons Boise Open 2022 being the first one, will determine half of the 50 cards for the 2022-2023 PGA Tour. The other half was determined by the eligibility points list following the Pinnacle Bank Championship last week.

The total Albertsons Boise Open 2022 Purse of USD $1,000,000 is announced with a winner’s share of $180,000. The payouts are set according to the Korn Ferry Tour’s prize money distribution chart.
Purse In The Previous Year:
The event was titled Ben Hogan Boise Open presented by Albertsons in 1990 while it offered only a $100,000 total purse. The winner’s part was $18,000 while $25,000 was donated to charity.
The event has made huge improvements in terms of increasing purse and donation. In the previous season last year, the total purse was the same as it is this year. Players finishing at the top five positions received $180,000, $90,000, $60,000, $45,000 and $38,000 respectively.

The Albertsons Boise Open event donates to charities every year through the Mondelez Rickets Support Charity Program. This time, a $3 million donation has been announced for charity at Hillcrest on Tuesday evening. It sets a new record in Korn Ferry Tour’s 33-year history.
