One of the longest transfer sagas is still on run as Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo wanted to leave the club to play in the UCL.
His agent, Jorge Mendes tries hard to find his customer to find a club and had held meetings with Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, and Atletico Madrid.
Apart from Atletico, all the other clubs refused the super agent and turned down the option to sign CR7. Atletico manager Simione wants the Portuguese superstar, however, according to a report, the president of the club Enrique Cerezo denied the speculation that his club will sign the Manchester United ace.
Fans were against the possible transfer and the economic condition of the club also won’t allow them to sign a player whose salary is astronomical.
Cerezo ruled the option and stated that they won’t do anything which could leave the institution in a financial turmoil situation. Nothing is certain yet nonetheless, it seems like Ronaldo has not had any place to go after leaving Old Trafford.
