Riot Games’ popular competitive FPS game, Valorant is reaching its much-awaited 3rd act of Episode 5. With a new act, the studio is bringing not only a new agent but an unexpected update to a fan-favorite skin pack.
If you have been playing Valorant for a good period, you should be familiar with the futuristic skin pack named Ion bundle. It instantly became a fan favorite among the fans, during its initial release on November 11, 2020.
The original Ion bundle featured 5 weapons and 3 miscellaneous items. With its futuristic white and blue theme, the skin bundle became an instant hit among the fanbase. Especially, the Phantom and Operator skins were fan-favorites. And so, the developers have decided to bring some neat addition to the pack in the next update.
The Ion 2.0 Skin Bundle
The upcoming Ion 2.0 bundle will be featuring the following weapon skins:
- Ion 2.0 Vandal
- Ion 2.0 Ares
- Ion 2.0 Spectre
- Ion 2.0 Frenzy
- Ion 2.0 Karambit
With a reveal trailer, the skin bundle has already received a massive positive reception among the fanbase. Especially fans are highly excited about the two highlight weapon skins – the Ion 2.0 Vandal & the Ion 2.0 Karambit.
In addition to the base White/Blue color, there will be two additional color variants. They are – Green/Black, Blue/Black, and Yellow/Red. Unfortunately, the Red/Black variant of the original won’t be available in the new bundle.

The individual VP for the upcoming bundle is listed below –
- Vandal – 1775 VP
- Ares – 1775 VP
- Spectre – 1775 VP
- Frenzy – 1775 VP
- Karambit – 3550 VP
The total amount for the Premium Bundle is set to be 7100 Valorant Points.
Release date of the Bundle
The new Ion 2.0 skin bundle will be available along with the upcoming Act 3 Episode 5 update. It is slated to drop on October 18, 2022.
