Being a part of the 2022 UNITE Championship Series, the Pokemon UNITE World Championship is the final World Championship event. 16 teams from across the globe, qualified through relative regional events, will converge to one battleground. Beginning in February, the Pokémon UNITE Championship Series features monthly qualifying online tournaments in each region. Eligible regions include Europe, Asia Pacific, Japan, South Korea, North America, Mexico, Central America, East & West South America, Oceania, and India. The events reward the winners with championship points, prize money, and an opportunity to secure a slot in the World Championships.
When Will The tournament be Held?
The Pokemon Unite World Championship 2022, a two-day LAN event, is scheduled to be held from August 19-20. Group stage matches will be held on the first day while playoffs are scheduled to take place on the following day.

Pokemon UNITE World Championship 2022 Format:
Sixteen teams will participate in the group stage of the tournament.
- Group Stage
There will be four groups consisting of four teams each. Each team will clash against its three group-mate teams in BO3 format. Top two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs.
- Playoffs
The playoffs will be played in a double-elimination bracket in Bo3 format except for the Grand Final which will be played in a Bo5 with bracket reset.
