A brand new Spanish women’s professional cycling event is announced to take place on May 1st. Here you will find all the latest info on La Vuelta Femenina 2023.

La Vuelta Femenia will start this May in Torrevieja. It will be the inaugural edition of the women’s professional road cycling event in Spain. The event will be the 15th race of the ongoing 2023 UCI Women’s World Tour.
The one-week-long cycling stage race will feature 7 different stages in the span of seven days. A total of 23 professional UCI teams will participate in the event.
Among the participants 12 will be from the UCI Women’s WorldTeams and the rest of 11 will be from UCI Women’s Continental Teams. Moreover, 9 of the Continental Teams will be Spanish. Zaaf Cycling Team will be absent as their license was revoked recently by UCI.
Participants will have to cross over 730.3 km of distance in the week-long stage race. The folding edition of this cycling event is organized and sponsored by Unipublic and Amaury Sport Organization.

The upcoming La Vuelta Femenina 2023 will be a Spanish event. During the opening day, a time trial race will start at Torrevieja on Costa Blanca. It will conclude after the participants reach Lagos de Covadonga on the final day. The event will mostly feature rough, hilly, mountain stages. Participants will have to cross over 730.3 km of distance over the entire event.
