Paris Nice is a long-running professional road cycling race held in France. It is currently sanctioned by Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), under their UCI World Tour. The upcoming edition of the Paris Nice event will mark the 81st annual hosting of the event. It will also be counted as the sixth stage of the ongoing 2023 UCI World Tour.
The race stage will be held on 8 different stages over the course of 8 days. 18 UCI WorldTeams and four UCI ProTeams will participate in the upcoming event. Participants will have to cross a total of 1201.1 km distance in the French tracks of this year.
Paris Nice 2023 is one of the most hyped events of the current UCI season. As fans will witness a high-voltage road cycling battle between Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates – red corner) and Jonas Vingegaard (Jumbo-Visma – blue corner).

As the name suggests, Paris Nice 2023 will be held in Paris, France. It will be 8 stage-based event. The first stage will start in Paris and ends in Nice.
The event is also called the Race to the Sun as it is held every year in first half of March. Therefore, the race even begins in the cold winter weather of Le Verriere and ends in the spring sunshine of Nice.
Majority of the race stages are flat surface roads. However, there are mountain and hilly areas in the final 3 stage. Also, the 3rd stage at Dampierre-en-Burly is a team-based time trial stage.
