The 110th Tour de France is scheduled to begin this Saturday, July 1, 2023. The 21-stage event will run for 23 days straight, ending on Saturday, July 23, 2023.
A total of 22 professional cycling teams will participate in this year’s competition. All of the 18 UCI WorldTeams of the current season and additional 4 teams of UCI ProTeams will be in the field.
Participants will have to cross over 3,404 km of distance over the span of 21 days. Stages will feature a mix of solid-flat and rough-mountain range tracks.
The event will kick off at Bilbao on the first day and end near Poligny on the final stage. Additionally, the second edition of the 8-stage women’s event will also return this year.

In the United States, the upcoming Tour de France will be available on TV via mostly Golf Channel. CBS will occasionally cover some important stages of the event too. Meanwhile, Eurosport will provide live tv coverage for a majority of the European region. However, the event will be available on RTVE with Spanish commentators in Spain.
