UFC Fight Night: Yan vs. Dvalishvili is the latest Fight Night event from the UFC. It is scheduled to be held on upcoming Saturday night in Las Vegas. The event will feature 13 professional mixed martial arts fights. 6 of the fights will be under the main card.
For the title fight, Petr Yan will face Merab Dvalishvili in the bantamweight division. This will be both participants’ first face-off against one another. While for the co-main event, Alexander Volkov and Alexander Romanov will fight in the heavyweight division.
Petr Yan is an MMA professional from Russia. He is popular with his in-ring nickname “No Mercy.” Yan currently holds a career record of 16 wins and 4 losses. The fight has a 44% KO-to-win ratio. Last year, he participated in two UFC events and faced Sean O’Malley and Aljamain Sterling. Unfortunately, Yan lost both bouts. His most recent win was in 2021 against Cory Sandhagen.
Merab Dvalishvili is a Georgian professional mixed martial artist. He currently holds a 15-win to 4-loss record with an ongoing 8-win streak. The majority of his wins are from decisions. Last year, he fought Jose Aldo at UFC 278 and won via unanimous decision. A year before that, Dvalishvili defeated Marlon Moraes and Cody Stamann in two different UFC events.
