Davis vs Garcia Prediction:
The American professional boxer, Gervonta “Tank” Davis has an undefeated boxing record of 27 straight wins. Among which, 25 was won by KO. After winning the lightweight title in 2020, he regained it the following year defeating Mario Barrios. Following this, he defeated Isaac Cruz in 2021 and Ronaldo Romero last year to defend his title.
The Dominican boxer, Hector Garcia currently holds a 16-0 record with 3 NC from 19 professional bouts. Additionally, 10 of his victories came via knockout wins. Last year, he defeated Roger Gutierrez via unanimous decision to win the WBA super featherweight title.
Davis is definitely the more experienced and skilled one among the two. He has been fighting in the lightweight class for a good amount of time. While, this title bout will be Garcia’s first boxing match in the lightweight class. Therefore, he will require a good period before becoming accustomed with the extra weight.
Both fighters are excellent with their specialty, knockout. Therefore, the Puerto Rican is expected to provide a good challenge for the Tank. While, Davis seemly has the better odds, he shouldn’t take Garcia very lightly. Otherwise, his title and win streak might be in trouble.
But right now, the best active lightweight boxer, Gervonta “Tank” Davis is our definite pick for the upcoming Davis vs Garcia boxing event.
