He won the NABF light heavyweight title from Alfonso Lopez in 2020 and retained it once in 2021. This year, he defeated the 9th ranked light heavyweight, Dominic Boesel via KO. Ramirez is currently ranked 3rd best active light heavyweight by The Ring, TBRB and BoxRec.
