In the midst of an exciting combat sports season, Bellator just announced their next big event, Bellator 292, a route to determine the next lightweight champion.

The latest Bellator MMA event is dubbed officially as “Bellator 292: Nurmagomedov vs Henderson.” It is an upcoming professional mixed martial arts event for the upcoming Friday night. The event is set to feature a total of 10 professional bouts. Four of these will be under the main card and the rest of 6 will be featured in the preliminary card.
The Russian MMA professional, Usman Nurmagomedov is set to face American professional, Benson Henderson on the upcoming event. Nurmagomedov and Henderson will be facing each other for the first time in their career. It will be the quarterfinal for the ongoing Bellator Lightweight World Grand Prix.
Usman Nurmagomedov is a professional mixed martial artist from Russia. The young fighter is currently the lightweight world champion at Bellator MMA. Nurmagomedov has an undefeated career record of 16 wins. 8 of which were earned through KO. Last year in November, he defeated Patricky Pitbull on Bellator 288 via a unanimous decision to win his current title.
Benson Henderson is a lightweight-class mixed martial artist from America. The southpaw stance Taekwondo and Jiu-Jitsu professional has a professional record of 20 wins and 11 losses from 41 MMA bouts. He is currently on a two-consecutive win streak. Both of which, he captured last year from Peter Queally and Islam Mamedov.
